The existing garden comprised two distinct sections: a lower paved area accessible through the backdoor, and an upper grassy portion separated by steep steps. Our seasoned professionals initiated the project by crafting a raised platform designed with utmost consideration for the client’s disabilities. Aligned with the patio double doors, this platform facilitated effortless wheelchair access. To further enhance convenience, we integrated round lift controls for seamless indoor mobility.
We used precise calculations at the upper tier of the garden to maintain the 1 in 12 gradients, creating a gradual ascent from 1 inch to 12 inches. Altogether our expertise shone as we met the recommended ramp specifications flawlessly. The previous dividing features, steps, and a brick wall, were transformed through cladding that harmoniously matched the new decking. A novel seating area was created for guests, complemented by a picturesque, framed wooden dividing wall crafted from the same material as the decking.
